Accounting Controller

Main purpose of position Currently we are looking for an Accounting Controller in Kyiv, Ukraine to be part of our global team working together towards our vision – Improving our future. As our Accounting Controller will ensure more sustainable performance and control over the material areas in financial transactions or under transactions that now are out of proper performance due to a lack of resources.
Main responsibilities

• Cash flow management: Biweekly update of cash flow files for each project; Updated of Sources & Uses at the end of a month per each project; Biweekly discussion of the СF; Guaranteed Buyer payments status files updating; Guaranteed Buyer payments status prepare and send 10 days status, monthly status, payment status presentation
• Monthly closing: GL, AR monthly revaluation in 365 and support calculation files preparation; Prepare service acceptance acts for non-residents, based on local legislation requirements; To collect and prepare supporting documentation for CSR project expenses; Monthly deviation analyses actual vs BD, disclosure all material deviations and reasoning behind; To help discover history and clean-up old ICO balances; Processing accruals in 365
• Fixed Assets block: Modernization of stations in 1C, checking tables. Depreciation check. Uploading depreciation sheets upon request; Collection documents for the new Fixed Assets and prepare full information for its commissioning. Running accounting and tax depreciation in 1C on monthly basis; Processing FA module in 365 (all kind of operation with FA + run depreciation) (10 LE) + 1C
• D365 system: Managing AZUR ticket status - coordination and follow-up with all participants of this process (originators, FSO team, External UA provider). Status reporting
• Budget and audit: Information gathering for budget files for SPVs; Coordination of information/docs gathering at external auditor requests; Support during tax and internal audit

Qualifications and competencies

• University Degree preferably in Finance/Accounting
• 5 years experience in within accounting, tax, and controlling
• Comprehensive skills in Excel and similar tools for analyses (Power BI will be a plus)
• Knowledge of the local Ukrainian GAAP and Tax code
• Good analytical and communication skills
• Dedicated and someone who takes “ownership” to tasks and responsibilities, flexible, adaptable and solution-oriented
• Ability to work under pressure and on own initiative
• Driven, always looking for ways to improve and having high aspirations for own work
• At least Intermediate English both verbal and written
