The Position

Division: Roche Diagnostics
Territory: Ukraine, West of Ukraine (Lviv, Uzhgorod, Ternopil, Lutsk, Rivne, Khmelnytskyi, Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi)
Position type: Maternity cover position, extension possible but not guaranteed.
Location: Lviv

You will report to the Regional Business Partner Lead and collaborate closely with the Marketing, Product Management, and Customer Support departments. This role encompasses all necessary activities to promote and sell Roche Diagnostics and managing distributor relations.
Additionally, the role includes proactive engagement with Sales and Marketing networks and other pertinent departments across all 11 markets under Roche Diagnostics Poland to facilitate cross-country experience sharing.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Implementation:
  • Tailor and execute corporate marketing and sales strategies to regional characteristics.
  • Evaluate healthcare needs and market opportunities for the full scope of Roche diagnostic solutions.
2. Operational Activities/Routine:
  • Maintain daily interaction with laboratory customers, healthcare system stakeholders, KOLs.
  • Explore ways to enhance customer experience and optimize the efficiency of the analyzer fleet through various communication methods and commercial activities.
3. Marketing:
  • Localize and prepare promotional materials for customer engagements.
  • Monitor and participate in local and international conferences and congresses, including KOL management.
4. Medical:
  • Collaborate with KOLs and scientists to identify unmet medical needs and solutions.
  • Coordinate with scientific publications for the dissemination of medical findings.
5. Market Access:
  • Liaise with the Ministry of Health regional departments and NGOs on procurement and healthcare programs.
6. Government Affairs:
  • Develop and sustain relationships with institutional entities to promote Roche’s innovative tests and technologies.
  • Stay informed of legislative changes affecting healthcare.
7. Business Development:
  • Engage with major hospitals and laboratories to advance the implementation of Roche solutions.
  • Lead projects in strategic growth areas like Clinical Lab, PCR, Coagulation, Tissue diagnostics, Digital pathology, Sequencing.
8. One Roche:
  • Actively participate in integrated team efforts across disease areas.
  • Organize collaborative events and manage joint project offerings.
9. Collaboration with Distributors:
  • Regularly communicate with distributor teams to align strategies and address logistical and regulatory challenges.
  • Serve as a trainer and source of deep knowledge on Roche Diagnostics solutions
10. Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to expand market presence.
11. Sales and Promotion:
  • Oversee sales operations through distributors and ensure promotional activities meet Roche standards.
12. Reporting and Compliance:
  • Deliver detailed reports on sales, market trends, and strategic initiatives.
  • Adhere to all legal and regulatory requirements, including MedTec
13. Mentorship and Team Development:
  • Mentor junior team members and promote their professional development.

Who You Are

  • You hold an MSc Degree of Biology, Laboratory or Medical Disciplines.
  • You have experience in the healthcare industry. In-vitro diagnostics (IVD) experience is a plus.
  • You are fluent in English
  • You have strategic thinking, with excellent communication and public speaking skills.
  • You have the capability to mobilize and manage resources from institutions, associations and government sources.
  • You have a solid professional Healthcare network in the governmental, non-governmental and other related sectors in Ukraine.
