Lead Big Data Engineer

We are the Big Data and Analytics Center of Excellence, data consulting, and data engineering branch of SoftServe. Together with the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) and Carnegie Mellon University, we adapted ADD and ATAM architecture design methodologies to the needs of Big Data. • Experienced in building large-scale data platforms and decision-support systems
• Proficient in delivering big data and analytics solutions
• Familiar with modern data and analytics technology stack and architectural patterns
• Skilled in designing and implementing enterprise-scale data and analytics solutions using a big data technology stack in GCP and Python
• A customer-facing consultant eliciting requirements, translating them into technical architecture, and presenting your decisions and proposals to a customer
• Good at leading data engineering or generic software development teams in the role of architect or team leader

• Be part of a team of data-focused engineers dedicated to continuous learning, improvement, and knowledge sharing every day
• Work with a cutting-edge technology stack, including services from major cloud providers that are at the forefront of innovation and may not yet be generally available
• Engage with customers from diverse backgrounds, ranging from large global corporations to emerging crypto startups preparing to launch their first product
• Be involved in the entire project lifecycle, from initial design and proof of concepts (PoCs) to minimum viable product (MVP) development and full-scale implementation
