Senior Java Engineer (Kafka / Flink / Spark)

Our West Coast US-based client provides cloud-based construction software to clients worldwide. Together, we develop and upgrade an award-winning suite of project management tools. They enable hundreds of thousands of users to manage industrial plants, office buildings, apartment complexes, university facilities, retail centers, and more.

• Strong in Java development
• Professional in Kafka, Flink, or Spark (at least one), or ready to start working with them
• Skilled in AWS cloud services
• Experienced with infrastructures including a large number of data
• Confident with data projects
• Willing to mentor other engineers
• Capable of communicating in English freely in a multicultural environment

• Play a major role in the design and implementation of our next-generation data platform for the construction industry
• Develop tools to facilitate the provisioning and orchestration of data
• Support our engineering team in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC): requirements gathering, functional and technical design, development, testing and roll-out, and support
• Help identify and propose solutions for technical gaps in our data platform by running proof-of-concepts and experiments
• Work alongside our Product, UX, and IT teams, leveraging your experience and expertise in streaming data pipelines and data lifecycle management
• Influence our product roadmap, developing innovative solutions that add additional capabilities to our tools
