We are looking for a creative individual who knows and loves working with social media (from Instagram to LinkedIn), pays attention to detail, and has a strong aesthetic sense (since Squareshots social media followers are primarily creative professionals and founders of fashion and lifestyle brands). Its also important that you have proven experience working with brand guidelines: Squareshot has a well-defined strategy, positioning, visual style, and tone of voice, that we stick to (and we would expect you to do the same).

And, of course, English is a must (all content is created in English for the US-based audience).

Tasks

  • Develop content plans together with the Content team.
  • Execute these plans: create content (you will be working with templates as well as generating creatives from scratch) and publish it.
  • Assign tasks to designers, copywriters, and videographers (for complex creatives).
  • Keep all Squareshot’s social media accounts up-to-date (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, Linktree, Anchor).
  • Build community on social media: this involves engaging with the existing audience and attracting new followers.
  • Interact with our partner’s social media teams: from cross-posting to creative collaborations.
Requirements

  • Advanced English. Written proficiency is mandatory, and strong conversational skills are a big plus.
  • Experience working with brand guidelines and various visual content.
  • Understanding of different social media platforms (for instance, knowing which content works best on LinkedIn versus Instagram, when and how often to post on Facebook, etc.).
  • Know how to create (and how to explain this task to required specialists) short, informative, and impactful content. Short copy is king.
  • Curiosity and eagerness to follow trends (both professional trends related to social media and visual content, as well as industrial trends in fashion and lifestyle).
  • Knowledge of graphic design principles (Figma/Illustrator). We dont expect you to be a graphic designer, but basic knowledge of these tools is necessary for creating visual content.
  • Respect for deadlines.
