Global Rights Compliance (GRC) is an international legal foundation focused on atrocity-crime accountability. We have a registered presence in the Netherlands, the UK and Ukraine and projects around the globe.

We are seeking an IT Officer who will be supporting a range of IT-related issues to ensure the efficient operation of the organisation’s IT infrastructure. The role will provide technical support, network security maintenance and technology solutions all aiming to maintain system reliability and enhance productivity.

Duty Station Kyiv, Ukraine.

Contract Duration 6 months with probable extension.

The Challenge

• Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software and hardware.

• Support in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving technical hardware and software issues.

• Assist users with setting up and configuring IT applications.

• Support security measures, including firewalls, antivirus software, and data backup.

• Administer the organisation’s IT systems, including email, file servers, and cloud services.

• Perform routine maintenance, updates, and upgrades of IT systems and software.

• Collaborate with third-party software providers for new solutions and troubleshooting.

• Respond promptly to IT-related inquiries and issues, ensuring timely resolution.

• Support in testing and evaluating new hardware and software to determine suitability.

• Provide training as needed on systems and software changes / upgrades.

Your Background

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role.

• Familiarity with the latest technology trends to ensure systems are maintained and up-to-date.

• Advanced Knowledge of Technologies such as: Microsoft 365, Microsoft SharePoint Online, Google Workspace, Amazon Web Services, Office LAN (Microtik, Aruba), Company Websites Support, Apple App Store Connect/ Google Play Console, Asset Inventory (Snipe-IT), Zoom Workplace (Webinar Support), IT user support (Email, chat, call).

• Extensive experience in solving hardware and software issues.

• Technical proficiency in IT systems and networks.

• Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.

• Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, along with critical thinking abilities.

• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, who can work well independently.

• Excellent communication skills in English and Ukrainian.
