We are looking for a Medical Billing Associate Manager in our team.
You will be working in a fast-paced and rapidly growing environment where you will be the face and the voice of the practice for patients in all matters related to billing. You will be responsible for delivering a courteous and compassionate customer experience while ensuring accurate billing. You will collaborate with and support the customer experience, operations, and clinical teams.
What you would do:
- Process claims and post payments;
- Reconcile and post deposits;
- Ensure timely follow-up on all unpaid claims utilizing account balance reports;
- Maintain all documentation and patient records required for compliant claim submission, record keeping, and reporting;
- Handle patient intake and billing phone calls and email inquiries, review light clinical information, and review insurance information with patients;
- Work with insurance payers to identify, research, and resolve any issues, including discrepancies, denials, and appeals;
- Follow all department standard operating procedures carefully and accurately;
- Handle other duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements:
- Enjoyment from highly detailed work;
- Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing;
- Medical billing or revenue cycle management experience, along with knowledge of explanation of benefits (EOBs), preferred; five years of general A/R experience required otherwise;
- Knowledge of Excel.
