Job Description Summary GE Grid Automation unit in Kyiv, Ukraine is an emerging and growing business in the field of protection relays, CCS and DCS solutions for distribution, transmission and industry sectors of energy market. We are dynamically introducing the digital substation technology with several success stories in the region behind.
We are now looking for candidates to strengthen our engineering team. Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Technical High School Diploma or equivalent required – automation, IT systems, electrotechnical faculties being most relevant ones;
  • Experience:
    • sound working experience in automation, computer networks, switches, routers, gateways, etc;
    • experience in programming languages (C#, VB, etc.);
    • knowledge of the zenon, SPRECON, SYNDIS RV, PACIS, etc.
    • acquaintance of GE DCS systems will be a plus;
    • knowledge of HV/MV power systems – standards, specifications, requirements, communication protocols, etc. will be a plus;
    • experience and knowledge of protection relays will be a plus;
    • sound interpersonal skills to effectively interact with a diverse groups of clients, both external and internal;
  • Specific knowledge:
    • Native or fluent Ukrainian;
    • English to effectively communicate with multinational customers and other GE functions abroad;
    • Visibility of work requires attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and discretion with confidential information;
