Lead QA Engineer

Job Description

In this role, you will work with our customer — a leading global American company specializing in the development and implementation of software for healthcare and clinical research. As the largest player in the market, the company offers not only software as a product but also as a service. Our client delivers a full-cycle solution, from clinical research methodology to the automation of Field Force processes. ‍

Requirements:

• 3+ years of working experience as a QA Engineer

• Understanding of QA processes, techniques, approaches, and methodologies

• Experience in data testing and report validation

• Basic understanding of client-server architecture

• Hands-on experience in working in an Agile team and a good understanding of the software development life cycle

• SQL: Ability to write and understand basic SQL queries for data validation and testing.

• Browsers and mobile testing: Experience with cross-browser and mobile testing on various devices and operating systems.

• Ability to work within a team and independently, with minimal supervision

• High level of attention to detail

• Excellent written and spoken English (upper-intermediate or higher)

• Good verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Write test cases and bug reports, execute tests, and record the results;

• Manage all the testing activities, coordination, overall test planning, estimation, risk mitigation, etc.;

• Create and maintain Test Plans and other testing documents;

• Conduct defect triage meetings - provide details about the defects to the team;

• Be the testing lead for assigned projects and be responsible for the expected quality levels;

• Perform Sanity, Integration, Regression, System, Performance testing;

• Support UAT;

• Lead walkthroughs of the system for team members and clients;

• Participate in planning sessions for testing, which include story points and acceptance criteria;

• Proactive communication with the team;

• Lead QA Team of 5+ QA Engineers. ‍
