Purpose of the job:
Our client is one of the world largest healthcare manufacturing organisation. The goal is gathering data from medical implants to monitor clients state and provide recommendations. We are looking for strong Data Engineers, experienced with Azure pipelines, Databricks and PySparkMAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- 6 - 10 years’ experience in IT industry with experience in defining and maintaining Application architectural blueprints and provide alignment with business objectives, and providing Technical/functional guidance to the team.
- Ability to quickly adapt to domain and new technologies, experiment and find quick solutions to customer pain area by carrying out Proof-of-Concepts, collaborate and resolve dependencies across multiple development teams.
- Ability to understand data architecture and contribute to Architectural design improvements.
EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
MUST HAVE:
- Strong Hands on Experience with Microsoft Azure, Databricks technologies.
- Hands on development experience in Pyspark, Python.
- Working knowledge of data warehousing principles, ETL star schema.
- Agile / Scrum methodology practitioner.
- Strong understanding of Object Oriented Design, Design Patterns, Database Optimization, Normalization, etc.
- Flexibility to work on Customer proprietary tools, technologies and framework.
- Good problem solving and customer communication skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (language: English)
