We seek a motivated, detail-oriented legal intern to strengthen our Legal Team.
You will assist in verifying third-party information, conducting due diligence, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. You will also support the team with legal research, tax documentation, and other compliance activities. It is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in tax law and regulatory compliance within a dynamic corporate environment.

For This Role

In this role, you will:

• Assist Senior Business Operations Lawyer in verifying third-party identities through various documentation and databases.
• Conduct due diligence checks on new and existing counterparties to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Review and analyze the third-party information to detect and report suspicious activities.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all KYC activities.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless third-party onboarding and ongoing monitoring processes.
• Help identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of KYC checks.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in KYC regulations and industry best practices.
• Assist Senior Business Operations Lawyer with legal research on various tax issues.
• Help draft legal memos, correspondence, and reports related to tax compliance and planning.
• Collaborate with the Finance team to analyze and interpret new tax regulations and their potential impact on the company.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on tax strategies and compliance initiatives.
• Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned by the Legal Team.

Skills you’ll need to bring:

• A student or recent graduate.
• Deep theoretical knowledge of tax and corporate law.
• Detail-orientedness.
• Critical thinking.
• English Upper-intermediate (B2) or higher.
