About Project:

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Algorithm Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics, algorithm development, and a keen interest in horizontal drilling technologies. You will be responsible for devising and implementing mathematical algorithms, analysing current projects, and potentially involving machine learning techniques to enhance our drilling processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field;
• Strong proficiency in mathematical modeling and algorithm development;
• Experience with programming languages such as C#, MATLAB, or similar;
• Knowledge of horizontal drilling technologies and processes is a plus;
• Experience with machine learning techniques and tools;
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment;
• Ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• PhD in Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field;
• Experience in the oil and gas industry, particularly in horizontal drilling;
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful algorithms in a professional setting.

Responsibilities:

• Devise and develop mathematical algorithms for horizontal drilling applications;
• Analyse current drilling projects to identify areas for improvement;
• Utilize mathematical models to simulate drilling scenarios and predict outcomes;
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to integrate algorithms into real-world applications;
• Explore and apply machine learning techniques to optimize drilling processes;
• Conduct thorough testing and validation of algorithms;
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation of algorithm development and project analysis.
