BS Middle Power BI Engineer

Our customer is Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev), the biggest brewery company in the world. We own over 630 beer brands (including Budweiser, Stella Artois, Hoegaarden, Beck’s, Leffe, Chernigivske) in 150 countries and are considered to cover 28% of the global beer market worldwide. European HQ is located in Leuven, Belgium.

• Solid understanding of Power BI and hands-on experience knowledge and understanding of given technology: its ecosystem, pros, and cons, available modules and libraries
• Strong grasp of analytics approaches
• Good mastery of Power Query M and hands-on experience in building sophisticated DAX queries
• Competence in implementing Row and Object Level Security
• Extensive experience with Dataset design, Data Cleansing and Data Aggregation
• Skills and expertise around integration, customization, and configuration of different tools (integration of modules to applications, APIs, services, data flows etc.)
• Desire to participate in different proof-of-concept and prototyping activities, technology assessments, and comparison exercises
• Proficiency in estimating efforts and justifying them in front of customer and delivery organization, efficiency in getting buy-ins from different parties
• Good presentation and communication skills to advocate the proposed technical solution
• Upper-intermediate English level or higher

• Experience with Qlik
• Having prior exposure to direct client interaction
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum
• Proficiency in leading small teams of engineers to drive them, decompose the complexity of tasks, mentor them and back-up if needed, communicate and convince around that or another decision

• Development of interesting and complex reports and analytical dashboards in Power BI
• Implementation of security levels at the level of objects and lines
• Integration and customization of various tools
• Preparation and delivery of presentation materials for communication with clients and internal stakeholders
• Active participation in the research of new technologies and tools through proof-of-concept and prototyping
• Evaluation of the effectiveness and capabilities of various technical solutions
