Translator Assistant

ROLE PURPOSE:
The service will be provided to ensure rapid and qualitative translation of materials in order and up programs managers requirements in SCI Ukraine.

KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
Responsibilities:

• Perform written, full translation at a fixed time and with exact translation correspondence to originals lexical, stylistic and semantic content. Adherence to standard requirements regarding technical terms and definitions.
  
• Different events interpretation.
  
• Perform translations proofreading.
  
• Assist HR & Administrative Department with administrative issues (paperwork, filing and etc.)
  
• Other ad-hoc duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Certificate of education, higher level of education desirable
  
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in translation
  
• Knowledge or experience of NGO work desirable
  
• Excellent interpersonal skills
  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (required) and Russian/Ukrainian
  
• Computer literate (including working knowledge of Microsoft Office)
  
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills and discretion with confidential information
  
• Ability to work independently and proactively
  
• Proven ability to handle challenging workload
