Nestle Ukraine, worldwide leader in Food and Beverage industry, successfully working and developing in Ukraine, is announcing an opening of Procurement Specialist position in Supply Chain in Torchyn Village.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implementation of category procurement strategy;
• Maintaining communication between global procurement and business (internal customers)/business partner;
• Interaction with relevant strategic buyers at the global level regarding data exchange, bringing local specifications to the global team, managing local procurement projects;
• Development of local suppliers to create competition within the procurement category;
• Initiating, managing or participating as a representative of the procurement department in cost savings projects or innovation projects with suppliers, factories, departments, including NPDI processes;
• Monitoring the needs for raw materials and packaging and ensuring timely communication to strategic buyers regarding changes in plans and the need for changes in contracts;
• Ensuring the first import of new materials into the country, close cooperation with operational buyers;
• Participation in supplier know-how transfer projects for the development of new products;
• Being a primary contact for the technical department, providing start-up support or specification modifications;
• Initiating and participating in cross-functional projects (for example, material standardization);
• Resolving all major complaints in the commercial or legal sphere, close cooperation with factories (escalation compliant to the global team/business partner, if necessary), etc.

Key Requirements:

• University Degree;
• 2+ years of experience in procurement (would be an advantage);
• Experience of cooperation with suppliers;
• Experience in contract management;
• Excellent communication and analytical skills;
• Open for challenges, out-of-the-box thinking;
• Advanced MS Office user;
• Upper-intermediate English.
