Senior/Lead Test Automation Engineer (JavaScript)

Our client is a US-based SaaS company for mobile and web-based field service management software to streamline operations. The Client is actively growing and has several projects for their business process optimization. Specifically this project assignment is about platform redesign by creating a new React UI for the existing PHP Back End.

• Having 5+ years of QA engineering experience
• Proficient in JavaScript programming language
• Familiar with Playwright
• Strong in test- and behavior-driven development (TDD, BDD)
• Experienced in test automation frameworks and concepts
• Skilled in testing WebUI
• Confident in Git, and jest
• Familiar with performance testing
• Used to adapting to the varied environment and quickly grasping new things
• Effective as a team player
• Capable of communicating in English freely in a multicultural environment
• Competent in TBD, Figma (is not a must)

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and tools using programming languages such as JavaScript
• Automate Web UI and API tests
• Take part in the code review process
• Troubleshoot and debug issues with automated test frameworks and test cases
• Analyze test results and report defects to the development team
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software testing and test automation
