The Nomenclature Data Specialist plays a key role in the formation of the data structure for the Nomenclature Classifier and determines the rules and regulations for creating and changing the structure of nomenclature groups, nomenclature, its characteristics and properties. Determines the level of detail in user requests, works to improve tools for working with the nomenclature reference book, and ensures the quality of data in the reference book and related reference books. Sets tasks and distributes responsibility among team members (operators) for data entry. Communicates with other departments to unify information, improve methods of data entry. What will you do?
  • Control over the correctness of primary data and its entry into the system by executors
  • Control over the coverage of all nomenclatures of finished products with specifications
  • Control over the relevance of the statuses, characteristics of nomenclatures and specifications used by the company
  • Setting tasks for creating new specifications according to the agreed work plan and list of materials
Responsibilities
  • Manage the process of creating/changing/closing values in directories, define rules and regulations for submitting applications for creating/changing/closing values in directories
  • Setting tasks for creating and making changes to reference books (nomenclature groups, nomenclature, specifications, units of measurement, conversion factors between units of measurement, etc.)
  • Coordination of interaction between team members in the process of creating a tool for managing reference books
  • Coordination of performers in the process of working with reference books, setting priorities
  • Assessment of the quality and completeness of reference data to be migrated to the ERP system
  • Participation in the development of business processes aimed at directories, for example, the business process of data migration to a new ERP.
  • Identification of duplicate and inappropriate data in the directories, development of recommendations for optimization and data unification.
  • Active participation in the implementation of the ERP system as the owner of the companys main directory. Knowledge and skills of working in ERP in terms of managing directories, performing business processes related to them
  • Management of reference information, migration of reference books to the ERP system, unification of company resources
