As a Jira Administrator , you will play a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of the Atlassian tools chain, including configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and usability.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of the Atlassian tools chain, including the configuration and maintenance of workflows, custom fields, schemes, add-ons, and integrations to ensure optimal performance and usability.
• Manage Jira Service Desk (JSD) portal page templates, with experience in the Refined app being a significant advantage.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting tasks for Atlassian applications, addressing complex issues that go beyond the capabilities of L1 and L2 support teams.
• Solve complicated problems escalated by L1-L2, ensuring timely and effective solutions are implemented.
• Write Groovy scripts using ScriptRunner to handle cases that existing plugins and tools cannot address, enhancing the functionality and efficiency of the system.
• Identify, test, and recommend new plugins to meet evolving project requirements, ensuring the Atlassian environment remains robust and adaptable.
• Analyze, review, and document current system functionality to identify potential areas of improvement, ensuring the system continues to meet user needs effectively.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in administering Jira and Confluence server applications, with Data Center product experience being a plus.
• Proficient in using Git/Bitbucket and Jenkins/Bamboo for version control and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD).
• Experience in coding with Groovy and JavaScript, enabling customization and extension of Atlassian tools.
• Skilled in building data queries using JQL (Jira Query Language) and SQL, facilitating effective data retrieval and analysis.
• Experience in using and extending REST API services to enhance system integrations and functionality.
