Node.js developer for e-mobility project

Stormotion is excited to welcome a Node.js Developer to take care of the e-Mobility project back-end part. The idea is to maintain the API for a mobile app and back offices used internally.

About the project:

Our client from Hamburg has become the leading developer of foldable e-scooters (10+ years of experience in the sphere) who designs, constructs, and sells their products worldwide. Interesting fact: the Client also offers businesses e-scooters as a company fleet, in a co-branding or leasing way.

Required skills for this role:

— 1+ years of experience with Node.js and TypeScript.

— Experience with MySQL or other relational databases:
✔️ Database Design: Ability to design efficient and normalized database schemas.
✔️ Complex Query Writing: Experience in writing efficient SQL queries, including subqueries and window functions.
✔️ Stored Procedures and Functions: Knowledge of creating stored procedures and user-defined functions.
✔️ Triggers: Understanding the triggers for enforcing data integrity constraints and automating actions.
✔️ Query Optimization & Performance Tuning: Familiarity with techniques for optimizing SQL queries, such as index optimization and query hints.

— Basic Web development experience (you’re able to support existing Web admin panels).
— English skills — Intermediate+ (you feel comfortable talking to clients (know about small talk) during calls and chatting in a written way).
— Good communication skills.

Will be a plus:

— Skills with such ORMs like Prisma.
— NestJS or other Node.js frameworks
— React knowledge
— DevOps experience (Linux, Docker, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions)
— Automated testing experience.

Responsibilities:

— Work with the Back-end tasks of the Mobile App we’re currently working on.
— Proactively contribute to the enhancement of the Back-end architecture.
— Directly communicate with the client (СTO and Product owner) and internally with PM and App Developer from Stormotion’s side.

Depending on the role, youll firstly receive a technical task with a 2-day deadline or invitation to LiveCoding challenge and after that, will be invited to a Technical Interview. This will be a video call with your future Team Lead, wholl share feedback on your Test Task, ask some technical questions to deeply understand your background.
