Trainee/Junior Manual QA Engineer

Our client had a Saas AI-Powered Staffing Platform, based on search requirements, their matching algorithms suggest only the best-suited candidates. Feedback and ratings are used to constantly refine the workers that appear top of search results.
In the past we worked on geolocation, and push notifications, and helped with UI/UX, our designer worked with them for a couple of hours. They have two websites (one for admins and operators and the second one – for employers) and 1 mobile app for workers looking for a job. Currently, our team works only with websites. We mostly work with the admin panel, doing a redesign, and creating a lot of new pages. New design and new pages – recently added employer search and worker, job details, now working on job details. They`ve extended to the Australian market, so we`ve been making a lot of changes and adjustments for a diff geographical zones in terms of currency, time zones, etc.
Tech stack: BE: Node, Postgres, Google Cloud, Knex, Objection, Docker, Kubectl
FE: React (functional and class components), redux, redux-form, ant-design
Testing: TestRail

Requirements:

  • Knowledge and understanding of REST API;
  • Experience with test management tools;
  • Experience in API testing.
  • Review technical requirements and design
  • Experience working in Agile;
  • Good communication skills;
  • Good team player and ready to learn quickly;
  • Experience with Postman;
  • At least upper intermediate English level.

Responsibilities:

  • Manual testing of web applications;
  • Creating new/maintenance of existing manual test cases, and executing them;
  • Work with a test management platform;
  • Perform test analysis and design testing documentation for the mobile and web applications;
  • Creating bug reports;
  • Taking part in Scrum activities;
