Middle Android Software Engineer

Our client provides the biggest healthcare digital solutions in the United States. The general solution is the single sign-on platform for healthcare providers. Our mission is to decrease the time, spent on the daily activities of the physicians, especially on the authentication workflows.

We are the mobile software engineering team. We develop innovative native Android and iOS applications for broader integrated healthcare solutions. They will help over 1 million users daily by saving time, reducing frustration, and providing better patient care.

• Having 2+ years of experience designing and building mobile applications on Android, including deployment of applications into the respective app store(s)
• Experienced in developing enterprise mobile client applications that securely and efficiently communicate with cloud-based services
• Skilled in developing apps for phone and tablet form factors, different versions of platform OS, and different generations of devices
• Proficient with Platform Notification Systems (PNS): firebase cloud messaging, Apple Push Notification service (APNS)
• Understanding of an Agile environment
• Demonstrating Intermediate written and spoken English
• Having great written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact well with both internal teams and external customers and partners as needed
• Possessing any background in Open Authentication Standards (OAuth 2, OpenID Connect, JWT, SAML) would be a plus

• Take responsibility for the delivery of mobile components for integrated solutions (on-premises and cloud-based solutions)
• Participate in establishing best practice coding and general mobile engineering principles
• Create high-quality code with an emphasis on testability via automation
• Create unit tests for coverage of developed application code
• Participate in troubleshooting and resolution of customer issues
• Provide support to customer case support, as well as training to field employees on the core product set

• Engage in a stable project with clear and well-defined transparent processes
• Participate in periodic Hackathon events when everybody works on their ideas
