Associate, Banking Finance & Capital Markets

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Associate to join our Banking Finance & Capital Markets team in our Kyiv office. This is an exceptional opportunity to collaborate with skilled professionals and provide top-quality advice and consultation to our premium clients.

We specialise in complex, cross-border financings and provide a level of industry specialisation and expertise not generally available in our jurisdictions. Our clients include commercial banks, international financial institutions, funds, sponsors, and borrowers.

We cover the full spectrum of finance work, including acquisition finance, leveraged and non-leveraged; fintech; bi-lateral and syndicated loans; debt and equity capital markets; M&A in financial sector and fintech; energy finance; infrastructure and project finance; real estate finance; restructuring; structured products; financial markets regulation.

Responsibilities include:

• advising clients on cross-border and domestic financing transactions, currency control and finance regulatory matters;
• drafting and negotiating financing documentation (facility agreements, security documents);
• managing transactional and advisory projects to ensure timely delivery;
• preparing legal opinions and memoranda;
legal research.

Key skills and experience required:

• law degree from a reputable university;
• previous 3-5 years practical experience in banking and finance practice at an international or major domestic law firm;
• full professional proficiency in Ukrainian and English;
• excellent multitasking abilities and a track record of meeting strict deadlines;
• proactive and self-starter attitude.
