Junior Manual QA Engineer (UAT Focus) - Remote

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our Quality Assurance team as a Manual QA Tester, specializing in User Acceptance Testing (UAT). The ideal candidate will have a passion for ensuring the highest level of quality in software products and a strong understanding of UAT processes.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and develop test plans and test cases for UAT.
• Execute test cases manually and identify defects, inconsistencies, and usability issues.
• Document and track defects using designated tools, and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
• Participate in product design and requirement review meetings to provide input from a testing perspective.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure that defects are resolved and that new changes do not adversely impact existing functionality.
• Work closely with product owners and end-users to understand their needs and ensure that the software meets their expectations.
• Provide feedback and suggestions for improving the overall quality of the software.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in QA methodologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 2-3 years of experience in manual software testing, with a focus on User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience creating and executing test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
• Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
• Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.
