C++ Developer

Volmi — A Virtuos Studio is a Ukrainian company, part of the global game development company Virtuos, specializing in creating art for games.
We are building a team of talented people to work on one of the most popular match-3 games in the world! We invite an experienced C++ Developer to join our team and conquer new heights with us. This is a unique opportunity to take part in one of the most famous franchises and make it even better.

• Develop and maintain advanced game features in C++, ensuring high performance and a great user experience;
• Collaborate with the design and art teams to bring new game features and concepts to life;
• Optimize game performance for mobile devices, ensuring smooth gameplay across a variety of devices and platforms;
• Implement and maintain network code for multiplayer features, ensuring reliable and fast game sessions;
• Work closely with QA to identify, fix, and prevent issues, maintaining high-quality standards for the game;
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in C++ development, with a strong portfolio of shipped games;
• Experience with game engines, preferably Unity or Unreal Engine;
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines;
• Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams;
• Good communication skills, fluent in English;
• Passion for games and creating fun, engaging user experiences;
• Strong understanding of network programming for multiplayer games;
• Profound knowledge of mobile game development and performance optimization.

Will be a plus:

• Experience with game optimization techniques;
• Experience of working with Custom C++ engines (or Godot, Defold).
