SENIOR C# DEVELOPER

Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior C# Developer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Ukraine. Our client is a Canadian courier and package delivery company. The company delivers nearly 500,000 parcels daily across Canada thanks to a technological platform offering more than 3500 optimized routes to almost 500 independent delivery employees. The companys services are provided via a digital order tracking platform that lets suppliers and logistics service dealers accept bulk orders, track parcel delivery routes, check and communicate shipment details, manage bills and invoices, and fasten the cargo shipment processes by partnering with certified transporters, enabling clients to request and enjoy secured transportation of their parcels and cargos by being able to track them in real-time. The client’s customers include Amazon, Pitney Bowes, and Landmark Global, which handle shipping for Etsy and eBay. The project duration is a minimum of 6 months with a long term if it goes well. They are currently undertaking a technology transformation that will require new talent in the fields of logistics technologies, data platforms, marketing automation and CX, data science and machine learning, cybersecurity, operational research, and business Intelligence. The company will also expand its physical and market footprint and will require a strong technology operation platform and infrastructure to support this growth. It is to take over a project that was started but not pushed into production yet. They have a few features that must be developed before launching this. Ideally, if one of the developers has some React background as well, we might decide to change the frontend from Razor to React (all frontends at the project have been using React recently, but this project was started before that decision). However, if they can change the FE to React, this will align with the vision. This is not critical, and they can live without it). Requirements:

• At least 5-6 years of experience developing object-oriented applications with C#, .NET, and .NET Core.
• Knowledge of Razor.
• Knowledge of SQL.
• Solid understanding of Azure Cloud (Azure function, logic app, web app).
• Proven understanding of Message Queue or Message Stream (Apache Pulsar, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Service Bus).
• Understanding software development practices such as source control, code reviews, unit testing, and debugging.
• Experience developing large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience with Agile delivery teams.
• Ability and interest in learning other coding languages.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Upper-intermediate or higher level of English.

Will be a plus:

• Experience with React JS.
• Knowledge of SharePoint Online.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the local product manager and solutions architect.
• Cooperate within an Agile team to create compelling and cutting-edge applications.
• Participate in sprint standups, sprint refine, and planning.
• Maintain and enhance existing applications and components.
• Write clean, readable code, debug complex problems that span systems, prioritize work, and get things done effectively.
• Write and review technical documents, including design, development, document revision, and code review.
• Analyze, review, and modify existing software solutions to increase operating efficiency or meet new requirements.
• Compose technical and user specification documentation to support application code design efforts.
• Research and evaluate new development technologies and, if appropriate, implement them.
• Troubleshoot production development issues.
• Develop tests and processes to ensure software stability and correctness.
• Work closely with the product management team to ensure the team building the best product possible.
