ML/Data QA Engineer

We are looking for a detail-oriented ML/Data QA Engineer to join our team and ensure the quality of machine learning models and algorithms. The ideal candidate will be passionate about improving AI-driven solutions through rigorous testing, data validation, and close collaboration with development teams.

Project Description:

Our customer focuses on helping oil and gas companies produce clean energy profitably by automating Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), and operational processes using AI and Computer Vision technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance and Testing:

• Plan and execute ML testing activities.

• Analyze defects and identify problems in current algorithms using video output.

• Run and enhance existing testing scripts and tools for verifying algorithm performance.

• Conduct accuracy, regression, acceptance, and end-to-end (E2E) testing.

• Validate data through metadata testing and data validation procedures.

ML Model Training and Data Management:

• Train ML models and ensure model performance consistency.

• Create datasets using the customers CMS and cloud storage solutions.

• Confirm the accuracy of data imports involving large datasets.

Collaboration and Reporting:

• Work closely with the clients team to clarify requirements, demonstrate results, and plan workloads.

• Track and report bugs with detailed documentation.

• Provide technical feedback and suggest improvements to algorithms.

Qualifications:

• Experience in ML testing, data validation, and algorithm performance evaluation.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of testing methodologies for ML models, including metadata, accuracy, and E2E testing.

• Familiarity with cloud storage, CMS systems, and data annotation processes.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

• Experience leading teams and mentoring colleagues is a plus.
