SENIOR TECHNICAL PROGRAM MANAGER

Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Ukraine. Our client is a cloud platform for business spend management (BSM) that helps organizations manage their spending, procurement, invoicing, expenses, and supplier relationships. They provide a unified, cloud-based spend management platform that connects hundreds of organizations representing the Americas, EMEA, and APAC with millions of suppliers globally. The platform provides greater visibility into and control over how companies spend money. Small, medium, and large customers have used the platform to bring billions of dollars in cumulative spending under management. The company offers a comprehensive platform that helps organizations manage their spending, procurement, invoicing, expenses, and supplier relationships. Founded in 2006 and headquartered in San Mateo, California, they aim to streamline and optimize business processes, driving efficiency and cost savings. The customer has multiple container platforms: AWS ECS, homegrown Kubernetes, and managed Kubernetes using AKS and EKS. This project is designed to move existing workloads from ECS and homegrown Kubernetes to the customized flavor of managed Kubernetes. The team will contain 7 Engineers: 2 DevOps Engineers, 2 Developers, and 3 Quality Engineers. Requirements:

• Experience in managing projects involving modern SDLC methodologies and Agile/Scrum practices.
• Proven track record of driving large-scale technical projects involving many teams and organizations while many people are distributed worldwide.
• Understanding SRE, Cloud Engineering, DevOps, and Security practices and experience working with leading cloud service providers and data center environments.
• 4+ years of professional project management experience and a relevant project management certification. Overall, 8+ years of experience in the software industry.
• Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Asana, Excel/Google Sheets, Project, and similar tools.
• Knowledge of AWS/Azure/GCP Certifications.
• A passion for excellence, natural and analytical problem solver willing to dig deep to understand issues to solve complex problems and take a data-driven approach.
• A confident communicator who can lead teams to achieve articulated and measurable outcomes.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with cross-team dependencies and conflicting priorities.
• A strong sense of service ownership, personal accountability, and a well-developed bias for action.

Responsibilities:

• Drive a technical project and follow the customers expectations.
• Hold Agile meetings and working sessions to assess their effectiveness.
• Provide requirements collection and clarifications.
• Search for risk identification and assessment.
• Identify risks and problems, preventing obstacles that impede the progress of work.
