We are currently seeking an Automotive Data Entry Specialist based in New Delhi, India. The primary responsibility of this role is to entering and updating automotive data on JATO’s platforms, ensuring the delivery of precise global automotive market insights to our customers. As part of a global team covering automotive research across different time zones, flexibility is essential for effective collaboration with colleagues.

This position presents an excellent opportunity for individuals with data entry experience who thrive on handling detailed information.



Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor the events of the automotive market (s) allocated and collect the relevant and required information to then enter into our proprietary software, following company procedures and guidelines.

  • Update and publish required changes using JATO proprietary software against relevant quality standards, procedures, and business requirements.

  • Successfully complete designated workload along with additional specialized activities based on the immediate priorities of the Data Operations Team.

  • Review documentation to gather details of specific changes and align against relevant JATO definitions, data structure and existing vehicle data.

  • Perform quality assurance (QA) activities to improve data quality.

  • Successfully resolve customer issues as a part of The JATO experience customer support/escalation process.

  • Stay up to date and execute the latest and ongoing procedure changes.

  • Use of JATO workload tools (i.e. time recording, TaskMan) as well as existing coding tools.

  • To implement corrections and changes into the database as guided and required by the Data Operations management and Centre of Excellence.

  • Research, update and process required changes and monthly updates to the Data using SQL alongside JATO proprietary software against relevant quality standards, procedures, and business requirements.

  • Use of tools, scripts and processes to process databases in preparation and delivery of the databases to the production team and customers

    • Key Requirements

  • Educated at Bachelors degree level or equivalent

  • Previous experience in collecting processing and analysis of data.

  • Interest and/or working experience in the automotive sector is preferred.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with the ability to effectively understand processes and guidelines.

  • The ability to focus on detailed information and to work with large amount of data long hours keeping highest attention

  • Being inquisitive combined with a proactive attitude.

  • Ability to meet multiple deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • Proficient Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, Advanced Excel
