Who we are

Blackbird Lab is a software development company. While we are practicing international working culture, we are proud representatives of Ukrainian values and traditions. Being in this craft for about 5 years, we managed to accumulate expertise and bring value to a number of clients. We cooperate with US and Canadian product companies of different sizes, from small startups to established products, in close, trusted relationships.

All team members, including management, have an engineering background. The process, participants who speak the same language and have a similar approach based on technical principles, is always efficient. It is way easier to make decisions and introduce new features in a team with engineering at heart. It is the technical DNA that lets us build high-quality products that facilitate the lives of our customers’ users.

Position & client

You will join our product - OrderHouse. It’s a platform for restaurants that is used by a big restaurant chain in the US. We’ve been in production since the beginning of 2022, and our platform handles thousands of online orders per day. We are integrated with third-party delivery platforms like Uber Eats. We’ve been developing web and mobile apps for 1 year already.

Now we need a TechOps/QA, who will help our clients to be onboarded on a platform, set up, handle and test their profiles settings.

Tool kit

REST API (Postman or similar tooling), Jira, Confluence, Figma

Responsibilities

• Performing functional, integration, regression, and acceptance testing to ensure quality
• Using Postman for APIs testing
• Log reading and analysis
• Providing constructive feedback and suggestions throughout the entire development life cycle
• Documenting and tracking bugs, issues, and resolutions
• Setting up product
• Helping customers to set up product properly
• Troubleshooting product setup issues

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in Manual QA
• Deep knowledge of software testing methodologies and techniques
• Knowledge of API testing (Postman or similar tooling)
• Familiar with Jira, Confluence
• Upper-Intermediate English level

Will be a plus

• PostgreSQL (DBeaver or similar tooling)
• Charles
• Elastic or CloudWatch
• Knowledge of SQL, Charles and log reading

We’re following 2-week Sprints with Story Point estimates, refinements, plannings, demos and retrospectives.
