Middle DevOps Engineer (Israel)

We are seeking a talented Middle DevOps Engineer for a part-time limited-term cooperation to join our team at Digital Turbine. This role implies 3 working days per week from the office in Petach Tikva and a 6-month duration contract.

Our client delivers innovative products and experiences to mobile advertisers and publishers. As a leading monetization and mediation platform, our client works with today’s most successful publishers and advertisers to help elevate the mobile economy in a user-friendly and positive way.

• Collaborate with development and operations teams to automate and streamline our software delivery pipeline;
• Implement and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform or similar tools;
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes or other container orchestration platforms;
• Implement continuous deployment pipelines with Jenkins, ArgoCD, or similar tools;
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines using Gitlab, Jenkins, or similar platforms;
• Manage secrets and sensitive data using Vault or similar solutions;
• Configure and maintain service discovery and configuration management using Consul or similar tools;
• Administer event streaming and message brokering solutions such as Apache Kafka or alternatives;
• Support real-time analytics and data exploration platforms like Apache Druid or similar technologies.

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles;
• Prior experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is essential;
• Proficiency in Terraform and TerraGrunt for infrastructure provisioning and management;
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration;
• Familiarity with ArgoCD for continuous delivery and GitOps practices;
• Experience with Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment;
• Strong understanding of Gitlab and Gitlab CI/CD pipelines;
• Knowledge of Hashicorp Vault for secrets management;
• Experience with Hashicorp Consul for service discovery and configuration;
• Familiarity with Apache Kafka for event streaming;
• Understanding of Apache Druid for real-time analytics;
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field;
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities;
• Upper-intermediate level of English proficiency, both written and verbal.
