FullStack Engineer (Python/Node.js/Typescript)

Our client, a leading provider of sales and marketing SaaS solutions for the residential property management industry, offers a suite of products designed to optimize front-office operations. Their platform includes CRM, analytics, tour support, and other key functionalities to enhance efficiency.

We are looking for an engineer to join the team, which is responsible for building and maintaining the core technological platform that powers the companys products. This team focuses on improving productivity and functionality of the products by adding new features, and ensuring system reliability and performance.

Key initiatives within the team include enhancing the telephony platform, developing a microservices framework, upgrading technology dependencies, and implementing critical backend services. The team primarily works with Python on the backend and Typescript on the frontend, though other programming languages are also utilized as needed.

• Closely collaborate with the distributed teammates, engineers and also non-technical roles to aid in the development of the products;

• Address customer-facing issues and improve the overall quality of existing systems, through augmented existing functionality, fixing bugs and adding preventative tests;

• Taking part in the new feature design and development;

• Follow industry best practices in quality management - automated testing, code review, error monitoring;

• Actively participate in the development process of the team and in the Scrum ceremonies;

• Participate in platform support and deployment processes.

• 3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer

• Proficiency in backend development (Node.js and Python) and frontend development (JavaScript and TypeScript)

• Strong written and spoken English skills

• Experience in planning, breaking down, and estimating large tasks

• Solid experience in writing unit tests and maintaining high code quality standards

• Ability to work independently, conduct investigations, and analyze existing solutions

• Comfortable working with legacy systems and refactoring them when necessary

• Experience working in a distributed team and following Scrum processes
