Junior Business Analyst
A USA-based project whose main goal is to make background screening easier.
The companys mission is to offer you the easiest path toward a safe, qualified workforce with a simplified employee background check process. We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst for a project with a company specializing in market research and data analytics solutions, background screening, and identity verification domain.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the backlog, planning sprints, and working closely with both front-end and back-end teams to align development efforts. This role requires a proactive individual who can take ownership of the BA function, drive the development process, and ensure technical alignment across teams.
Requirements:
- Over 1.5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- Strong experience with backlog management and sprint planning.
- Skilled in writing API documentation and working with Postman.
- Experience working with technical leads to define API requirements and technical solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Lucidchart or Figma for process flows and UI/UX wireframes.
- Proficiency in Jira and Confluence for documentation and task management.
- Ability to align front-end and back-end teams for seamless feature implementation.
- English level- Upper-Intermediate.
Responsibilities:
- Ownership of backlog management and sprint planning.
- Leading grooming calls and ensuring proper refinement of user stories.
- Creating detailed user stories, functional specifications, and technical API designs.
- Documenting API specifications and ensuring clarity for development teams.
- Conducting API testing using Postman to validate business requirements.
- Acting as a bridge between front-end and back-end teams to align feature development and resolve technical discrepancies.
- Collaborating with the front-end and back-end tech leads from the clients side to define and document technical designs for new features.
- Creating mockups and UI/UX wireframes and mock-ups.
