Ukraine Business Engagement Manager Minimum Qualifications Summary Experience Required
  • Minimum 5 years experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with senior Federal personnel.
  • Ability to read and analyze documents and publications.
  • Experience with Office365 Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
Experience Desired
  • Prior experience within the Ukrainian military or government or working regularly with the military or government.
  • Prior experience working with non-governmental organizations working in Ukraine.
Travel & Language
  • Must have an active passport and be able to travel within Europe and to the United States, as required. (Travel can be up to 30% of the year outside of Ukraine and 50% within Ukraine.)
  • Native Ukrainian language speaker with fluency in English and Russian Languages.
Job Objective Manage operations of Lukos Office(s) in Ukraine to include business development and growth activities, stakeholder engagement and liaison, coordination, resource management, task execution, and general administration. Provide specific local and regional knowledge and subject matter expertise to accelerate Lukos business operations. Establish sustainable business presence and coordinate country-wide activities in support of business functions. Responsibilities
  • Business Development and Growth
    • Support business development efforts with Ukraine government, military, and industry partners.
    • Develop and assist with business plan development and execution in wider Ukraine market.
    • Evaluate and assess opportunities for growth.
    • Develop and coordinate future strategy and plans on how to leverage relationships in Ukraine to further business efforts.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Liaison
    • Identify potential business partners, advocates, and stakeholders that can support business growth.
    • Provide support for and attend meetings with stakeholders to support business development and/or coordinate operations.
  • Coordination
    • Provide region specific subject matter expertise to leadership team.
    • Coordinate with local stakeholders, organizations, and agencies in support of business operations.
    • Facilitate a country specific interaction between Lukos and local stakeholders and organizations.
    • Participate in meetings, events, conferences, and engagements that support business development.
    • Participate in establishment of business processes as representative of Lukos in Ukraine.
  • Resource Management
    • Consults with and advises leadership team concerning events, opportunities, risks, issues, schedules and required program resources.
    • Manage local resources to support business operations.
    • Implement risk-based approaches to identify factors that require Lukos leadership review.
  • Task Execution
    • Provide project management of initiatives in Ukraine to include monitoring, reporting, analysis, and maintaining project-related documentation.
  • General Administration
    • Manage office and Lukos personnel in Kyiv.
    • Support Lukos home office in local execution of human resource, contract, and resource actions.
    • Maintain records for local office operations and provide reports as directed by Lukos home office.
    • Attend recurring virtual meetings with Lukos home office.
    • Perform travel to support requirements within Ukraine.
    • Perform travel to report requirements outside of Ukraine as directed by Lukos home office leadership.
Education & Certification
  • Bachelors Degree preferred.
    • Experience and demonstrated competency outweigh education requirements.
  • Native Ukrainian language speaker with fluency in English and Russian languages.
