Senior DevOps Engineer

Ciklum is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team full-time in Ukraine.

About the role:

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow.
Project is a global food tech company, with almost 100 million active users across 25 countries.

As a recently formed team, they have many opportunities and ideas for sharing value back to the customers within their continuously expanding platform. Theyre looking for talented and trusted engineers to help them impress their customers.

You will become a part of a positive, engaged, and motivated team of strong professionals based in Ukraine, England and Europe centers.

We offer a unique, very friendly, and supportive working environment where you communicate and work directly with the UK and European stakeholders. Sub team is working on GitLab to Github migration.

Responsibilities

• Work on migration of the SCM and CI/CD system from GitLab to GitHub + GitHub Actions
• Review and analyze existing pipelines in GitLab-CI, and translate them to GitHub Actions, ensuring functionality and efficiency
• Collaborate with product engineering teams to understand their requirements and provide support during the migration process
• Manage the project timeline and milestones, ensuring that the migration is completed by the deadline (We have around a 1000 pipelines to migrate)
• Continuously monitor and optimize the CI/CD processes on GitHub Actions for improved performance and reliability

Requirements

• Deep understanding of the CI/CD process
• Proven experience with Gitlab CI/CD and GitHub + GitHub Actions
• Proven experience with AWS IAM
• Familiarity with Hashicorp Vault
• Familiarity with Python is preferred
• Familiarity experience with Kubernetes (EKS) and Helm deploys
