We are looking for an IT Support Engineer who will be engaged in the maintenance and troubleshooting of the user desktops, periphery devices (printers, scanners, etc.), support of the meeting rooms.
IF YOU ARE - Experienced as a HelpDesk Systems, or IT Support Engineer for at least 6 months
- Familiar with MS Windows 10, MS Office, OS X
- Skilled in core MS Windows Servers and Linux-like systems administration
- Confident in MS Windows Systems and Linux
- Competent in workstation hardware and periphery devices configuring
- Accustomed to working by using checklists
- A sound troubleshooter with a get things done approach
- Effective as a team player
- Demonstrating Pre-Intermediate and above English level
AND YOU WANT TO - Install and configure workstation software as a part of the hiring procedure or by individual users request
- Support network and domain user accounts and mailboxes
- Support users desktop applications
- Deal with technical fault analysis and troubleshooting, detect the roots of problems and resolve them
- Cooperate with other directions (if required) to accomplish requests effectively
- Support technical devices and workstations in meeting and guest rooms to keep them functional, according to scheduled maintenance plan, or by request
- Track tickets to closure or raise them to L3 engineer in case if it requires additional advisory
- Update corporate knowledge base with the latest changes in software and corporate policies
- Perform workstation hardware and periphery devices check, repair, according to schedule, or by request
- Perform installation and configuration of workstation hardware on demand of hiring or relocation; uninstalling in case of dismissal
- Maintain corporate servers hardware functionality, forecast potential risks and faults, propose solutions to avoid them
- Cooperate with service centers, vendors, suppliers for hardware devices procurement, support and repair services
- Ensure the logistics for transporting hardware devices between company offices, service centers, vendors, or suppliers
- Manage company hardware storehouse by tracking list of available hardware and periphery devices
- Perform regular or on-demand inventorying the hardware and periphery devices
- Provide IT resources for business trips
