ABOUT THE JOB

Gunzilla Games is looking for a Technical Producer. You will facilitate communication, organization, and accountability across our Metagame Team and be the one that will help shape the future of our game OTG (Off The Grid), an all-new AAA Extraction Battle Royale shooter, currently available as Early Access on PlayStation®5, Xbox® Series X|S, and PC.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Serve as a driving force for the Metagame Team, facilitating communication, organization, and accountability across Programmers and reporting to the Executive Producer.
• Drive new production initiatives that constantly improve development practices.
• Own Entire Pipelines and/or teams that relate to the games overall success and drive them to a timely completion.
• Identify and manage risk across feature teams that may impact the project
• Work with sprint teams to meet company goals and assist the team in removing blockers and raising risks.
• Create, track, and manage tasks to ensure that schedules are maintained and adjusted accordingly for all upcoming releases and deadlines.
• Compile and send out regular reports on team progress and accomplishments.
• Schedule and attend meetings as required; take clear and concise notes and distribute them to the appropriate personnel.
• Identify, communicate, and resolve any risks preventing the team from completing deadlines.
• Serve as custodian of team health and foster a culture of success.
• Work with the team to develop efficient work methods and pipelines.
• Support our Product Owners and support them with guiding the teams.

REQUIREMENTS

• A minimum of 3 years experience in video game production
• Experience in managing technical teams
• Knowledge of JIRA(JQL), Miro, MS Office, etc.
• Excellent knowledge of management methodologies such as Scrum, Agile, and Waterfall
• Organizing and managing meetings, cross-team brainstorms & conversations with MS Outlook and Zoom
• Experience in planning (roadmaps), risk assessment, ensuring deadline compliance
• Excellent verbal and written cross-team communication
• Excellent English and Ukrainian language level
• Very good self-motivation and initiative
• Ability to problem solve
• Ability to work with different time zones
• Passion for Video Games, especially futuristic, sci-fi, 3rd person games

PLUSES

• Must have proven experience in a Producer position on at least 1 shipped AAA title.
• Project Management certifications such as Prince2, Agile, Scrum, and Kanban.
• Knowledge of online competitive shooters, 3rd person games, and Battle Royale games.
• Work from the Kyiv office.
