For our US/EU-based clients team, we are looking for a Back-End Engineer with an entrepreneurial mindset and relevant experience developing smart contract systems in Solidity for an EVM-based smart contract system.

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Developer.

Core Technology Stack:

• Backend:
  • Database: PostgreSQL, TimescaleDB with replication
• Blockchain/DLT:
  • Primary: Hedera (HTS, Smart Contracts)
  • EVM Compatibility: Support for Hedera EVM and EVM-compatible chains
  • Smart Contract Development: Solidity
• Infrastructure: Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud hosting with auto-scaling
• Messaging: RabbitMQ for microservice communication
• API: REST with Swagger documentation
• Security: Helmet security layer, EdDSA (Ed25519) for wallet implementations

Core Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend systems using the listed technology stack
• Build and integrate smart contracts for multiple EVM-compatible platforms
• Implement HTS (Hedera Token Service) functionalities for native token operations
• Develop secure wallet integration using EdDSA (Ed25519)
• Create NFT minting solutions following ERC-721 and ERC-1155 standards
• Design and implement microservices using RabbitMQ
• Build and maintain REST APIs with proper documentation
• Work with streaming services and media conversion systems

Technical Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in:
  • Rust Web Microservices experience (Relevant Rust projects: Tokio, Axum, Actix-web, SQLx, Diesel)
  • PostgreSQL experience in the context of web microservices, data engineering and analytics experience

Nice to have:

• Node.js / TypeScript
• Nest.js framework
• EVM (Ethereum Virtual Machine) Smart Contract Experience

Qualifications:

• Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
• Deep understanding of distributed systems and blockchain architecture
• 5+ years of senior development experience or a Masters degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• Experience with decentralised identity management solutions and standards, such as W3C
• Experience with decentralized identifiers (DIDs) and Verifiable Credentials (VCs)
