Main goals: As a Product Designer at Skylum, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience and interface of our software products, with a primary focus on Luminar Mobile and other related applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, and engineers, to create user-centric design solutions that enhance the way photographers interact with our software.

Requirements:

• A minimum of three years of experience in product design, with a focus on user interface and user experience.
• Experience with mobile apps - must have.
• Strong proficiency with Figma (design systems, advanced prototyping)
• A well-rounded portfolio showcasing a range of design work, including UI/UX projects. Be prepared to discuss your design process and the impact of your work.
• Experience in conducting user research and usability testing is a plus.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of photography or image editing is a plus, but not required.
• English - intermediate or higher.

Responsibilities:

• **User-Centered Design:** Understand and advocate for the needs and desires of our diverse user base. Conduct user research to identify pain points and opportunities, and translate findings into design solutions.
• **UI/UX Design:** Create intuitive, aesthetically pleasing, and functional user interfaces that provide a seamless experience for our customers. Ensure consistency across all product elements.
• **Prototyping:** Develop interactive prototypes to communicate and test design concepts, iterating as necessary based on user feedback and design critiques.
• **Collaboration:** Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and other designers, to gather input and ensure alignment throughout the design process.
• **Usability Testing:** Plan and conduct usability testing sessions to validate design decisions and gather insights for further improvements.
• **Design Documentation:** Produce comprehensive design specifications, style guides, and assets for development teams.
• **Stay Current:** Keep up to date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies, and proactively bring new ideas to the team.
