Lead AI Researcher

Our client is a FoodTech innovative startup focused on ending piglet castration by developing non-destructive, cost-effective technology for carcass classification. Their remote sensing, AI-driven solution addresses animal welfare, environmental impact, and farming economics, addressing an immediate market of EUR 500m in the EU alone.

We are currently looking for a highly experienced advanced AI Researcher to lead the development of AI algorithms for our product. You will focus on optimizing deep learning and computer vision models for real-world applications, ensuring they are scalable and commercially viable. Your work will have a direct impact on our product and its success in the market.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and optimization of AI algorithms for non-destructive grading and quality control.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to turn AI research into product features.
• Drive innovation and product development through deep learning, neural networks, and computer vision.
• Contribute to patents, publications, and technical documentation.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in AI research and product development.
• Expertise in deep learning, neural networks, and computer vision.
• Strong programming skills in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.
• Experience with remote sensing and AI applications for real-world data is an advantage.
• Proven ability to translate research into product-driven solutions.
• Ph.D. or Masters in a relevant field.
• At least Upper-intermediate English.
