Middle Full Stack Software Engineer (Python + JavaScript)

Our project is connected to the leading multi-factor authentication (MFA) and secure access provider. We believe that security should help people get their jobs done, not stand in their way. That means making it easy for our customers to configure policies that change the level of access or trust based on user and device context – minimizing friction while still providing strong security against attacks.

At the heart of every of these access decisions lies our project’s policy engine. That’s why we’re forming a new team to build the next generation of policy for our customers.

• Proficient with web application development using Python for at least 3 years
• Well-versed in JavaScript libraries like React (at least 1 year of experience)
• Familiar with building distributed and scalable SaaS applications and AWS frameworks (at least 1 year of experience)
• Experienced with async programming patterns
• Confident with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Skilled in CI/CD and deployment practices, automated software testing practices, security best practices, and user experience
• Capable of maintaining daily communication with English-speaking software engineers on the client side
• Aware of implementing and managing monitoring solutions for real-time data analysis, visualization, and alerting such as the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), Grafana, and Prometheus (will be a plus)
• Strong in the implementation of authentication and authorization mechanisms for different applications (will be a plus)
• Competent in OAuth 2.0, SAML, LDAP, and SCIM (would be an advantage)

• Implement an identity access management (IAM) system for a renowned security leader in the market
• Integrate with existing security assertion markup language (SAML) and OpenID Connect (OIDC) infrastructures
• Provide development and integration of Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) to enhance directory information services
• Interact with integrating tools for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline the development lifecycle
• Enhance monitoring and alerting systems to ensure high availability and performance of the applications
• Leverage AWS services for log processing and data analysis to effectively identify and resolve system bottlenecks, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of the web applications
• Implement a system for cross-domain identity management (SCIM) for efficient user identity synchronization across multiple platforms
• Build and deploy solutions on AWS Cloud, leveraging its robust and scalable infrastructure
• Collaborate with a team of experienced security professionals and cloud experts to deliver a comprehensive and secure IAM solution
