Role summary

As a Product Ops Assistant, you support product leaders by handling administrative, operational, and organizational tasks. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that product leaders can concentrate on strategic priorities. You will work with both B2C and B2B product development organizations, enhancing their operational efficiency and overall productivity.

Responsibilities

The work of a Product Ops Assistant varies significantly per client as it depends on the specific needs, organizational structure, and strategic goals of each client. • Assist in the creation and maintenance of product roadmaps.
• Create communication plans for product updates.
• Coordinate product releases and experiments.
• Maintain clear communication channels with key stakeholders, and gather and present stakeholder input.
• Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Support performance reviews.
• Manage tools and train the team on tool usage.
• Collect and analyze customer feedback to identify pain points.
• Facilitate goal-setting workshops, document and communicate goals, and track progress.
• Prepare product meeting agendas and minutes, document key discussions and action items, and follow up on tasks.
• Create and maintain product team documentation.

As a Product Ops Assistant, you support product leaders with a variety of tasks and activities. Unlike Product Ops Leads or Managers, you typically will not take full ownership of entire projects or initiatives.
