We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in video editing and a deep understanding of e-commerce marketing.

This role involves creating engaging and effective video ads from sourced content, writing compelling scripts, and ensuring the final products align with our marketing objectives and brand standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create visually compelling and engaging video ads using sourced content from platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, and other social media channels.
• Develop and write scripts for video ads that capture the audiences attention and drive conversions.
• Edit video content to fit various aspect ratios, primarily 16:9 and 1:1, ensuring optimal display across different platforms and devices.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure all video content aligns with the brand’s voice and marketing goals.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in video editing, e-commerce marketing, and social media advertising.
• Source high-quality video content relevant to drop shipping products, ensuring adherence to copyright and usage guidelines.
• Utilize e-commerce marketing knowledge to create ads that resonate with target audiences and enhance the customer journey.
• Work efficiently to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of proven experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in creating ads and promotional content.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro, along with experience using video editing tools and apps for social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram, including VN and equivalent applications.
• Excellent scriptwriting skills with the ability to craft engaging narratives.
• Strong understanding of aspect ratios, video resolutions, and best practices for social media platforms (most common aspect ratios for the ads are 16:9 and 1:1).
• Ability to work with ads in German, although German language skills are not required.
• Solid knowledge of e-commerce marketing strategies and the drop shipping business model.
• Ability to source and select appropriate video content that enhances the marketing message.
• Creative mindset with an eye for detail and a passion for storytelling.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
