Senior Coordinator of Environmental Sustainability

Our Environmental Sustainability Team is dedicated to driving change through innovative solutions and initiatives that reduce our ecological footprint, while also helping our clients achieve their sustainability goals.

As a key part of our business strategy, the team works across multiple areas, including energy efficiency, waste reduction, decarbonization, and sustainable design, in line with industry standards and the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).

We are committed to achieving net-zero emissions by 2050, with ambitious near-term targets, and actively promote the integration of sustainability principles into our day-to-day operations.

The team collaborates with various departments and offices globally to ensure our facilities are energy-efficient, our IT solutions are low-carbon, and our products align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

IF YOU ARE

• A holder of a Masters degree or equivalent in Sustainability or Social Sciences or Law (alternatively, economics, sociology, or an equivalent degree is acceptable)
• Having 3+ years of professional experience in ecology/environmental management
• A hands-on expert in ISO 14001 (Environmental management)
• Knowledge of the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, SDGs
• Proficient in legal writing
• Strategic, with the ability to navigate complex and ambiguous environments
• A cooperative, flexible, and diplomatic team player
• Effective in English communication for collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders (at least Upper-Intermediate English level)
• Experienced managing projects and initiatives (preferred)
• Familiar with conducting gap analyses and action plans (desirable)
• Well-versed in global or multinational corporate experience (as a plus)
• Willingness to travel internationally from time to time (nice to have)
• A holder of certificates or relevant courses in Sustainability (as an advantage)

AND YOU WANT TO

• Manage projects contributing to the Environmental Sustainability program
• Contribute to the Environmental Sustainability program, including the EMS implementation and further improvement
• Prepare and take part in the periodic materiality assessment processes
• Prepare CDP and other reporting submissions
• Engage SoftServes teams and individual employees on environmental sustainability topics
• Engage with external stakeholders, including organizations, initiatives, partners, and events
• Manage measurement activities focused on environmental sustainability
• Foster the environmental performance of the company
• Oversee the team of ES professionals
