Lead Test Automation Engineer

We are seeking a talented Lead Test Automation Engineer with expertise in JavaScript to join our team. Our client, a top-tier provider of automotive services and technology solutions, serves a diverse range of clients, including car shoppers, automakers, dealers, retailers, lenders, and fleet owners.

The remote option applies only to the Candidates who will be working from any location in Ukraine.

• Framework Development: Develop and maintain the test automation framework
• Test Migration: Port existing tests to new solutions and restructure them as needed
• Integration Testing: Build a stable integration test package
• Test Coverage: Identify and fill gaps in test coverage and add new scenarios
• Collaboration: Work closely with Business Analysts and the Development team to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of tasks
• Innovation: Bring forward ideas regarding test and code design to improve processes and outcomes

• 6+ years of relevant working experience
• 1+ year of experience in leading role
• Expertise in Test Automation: Able to maintain and develop scenarios for UI and API test automation using the BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) approach
• Proficient in JavaScript, TypeScript,Playwright, Node.js, Cucumber, WebDriverIO, axios, Cypress, SauceLabs, and any CI tool
• Experienced in creating BDD designs and familiar with building the architecture behind test automation frameworks
• Capable of build and maintaining test suites, test cases, and managing defects
• Possesses strong communication skills, with a minimum English proficiency level of B2+. Able to propose new ideas and improvements
• Agile Methodology: Experienced in working within a Scrum framework
