We invite a 2D Artist to join the VeliPlay product team. Housed within the innovative umbrella of VeliTech, VeliPlay is our dedicated game development studio specialising in crafting exceptional crash games and more. Were committed to delivering cutting-edge games that engage players with outstanding mechanics and envelop them in rich, immersive narratives. In this role, you will:

• Participation in all stages of design processes;
• Direct collaboration with Product Stakeholders, Product Team, Art and DevTeam;
• Analyzing business needs, researching and implementing results into specific design solutions;
• Analyzing the effectiveness of the product design and searching for ways to improve the product;
• Creating prototypes (static and/or dynamic), testing the offered decisions, and presentation of results to a team;
• Creating 2D & UI kit elements for Design and Art purposes;
• Analysis and research of strengths and weaknesses of the product (quantitative and qualitative analysis);
• UI visualization
• Cultivating and providing best practices to the Art pipeline production
• Support and coordination in the development stage;
• Designing marketing materials and advertising campaigns.

Skills and experience you will need:

• 2+ years of product design experience working with digital products of different scales;
• Good research, analytical, and visual design skills;
• Confident mastery of Figma using styles and components;
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, etc.) or equivalent tools;
• Experience in designing enterprise interfaces;
• Understanding of usability principles and UX methodologies;
• Confident mastery of Vector and Raster graphics.
• Knowledge of Responsive and Adaptive Web interfaces and games;
• The ability to create expressive compositions
• Familiarity with design requirements for both web and apps;
• Experience in prototyping UI designs;
• Confident in translating UX and product strategy, user and market research into consistent user flows, and a simple-to-read 2D Art;
• Ability to produce high-quality results in a rapid and efficient manner;
• Ability to work with clients to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet client needs and vision;
• Good communication skills, and the ability to effectively communicate your design decisions in both external and internal contexts;
• Attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetics to ensure high-quality visual designs.
• Ability to work on multiple projects spanning different teams;

It will be a plus:

• Knowledge of HTML/CSS;
• Understanding PixiJS framework
• Basic animation skills;
• Illustration skills;
• the ability to use AI in art creating.
